Seeking to Hire: Video Curriculum Writer

The Alcohol Problems Council of Wisconsin is seeking to hire a creative individual (or individuals) to write and edit scripts for video curriculum that will promote the sober lifestyle to middle-school youth.

Our ideal candidate will be a talented writer who is skilled in illustrating complex and serious truths to young people in an engaging manner.  Candidate must be comfortable with promoting the alcohol-free lifestyle as a very realistic and positive choice.

Our vision is to develop a short series of faith-based video curriculum. The curriculum may include a mix of animation, infographics, in-person interviews, and persuasive voiceovers. We will also create supplementary material such as student worksheets  and session leader discussion questions.

Curriculum is planned to be a series of 4 videos, approximately 10-15 minutes in length each. (Estimated word count for the video scripts will be 7,000 – 10,000 words.) For compensation, per-word rate will be paid; rate is negotiable based on relevant experience.

The final product will be presented in environments such as church youth groups, Bible studies, and private religious schools.
