Faith Partners Grant from the Alcohol Problems Council of Wisconsin

Latest Project: Grant for Faith Partners project

The Wisconsin Council of Churches recently launched a two year pilot project in Dane County called Faith Partners Wisconsin.

On request from the Wisconsin Council of Churches, the Alcohol Problems Council of Wisconsin issued a grant to help launch this project.

In the video below, Wisconsin Council of Churches President Scott Anderson explains the purposes, intentions, and status of Faith Partners.

Faith Partners Wisconsin will provide professional training for ten congregational teams in Dane County, beginning in 2011. Faith Partners is a national organization, founded in 1995 with a mission to equip people of faith in the development of caring communities which promote prevention of alcohol and other drug abuse and value and support recovery from addictions.
The WCC hopes to expand Faith Partners-Wisconsin statewide over the next 5 years.
